I bought this when it first came out and has sat on my BCM have put easily over 3000 rounds and thousands of reps on it. For the way most people shoot and home defense this is way beyond what you need and I trust my life with it. Would I take this with me to Afghanistan? Probably.

I like the durability, weight, and solar cell features of this optic. I hate the reticle. The + reticle is distracting and is not picked up by the eye as easily as a dot. The other reticles are nice, but limited by the FOV of the optic. If the tube were larger, like MRO size (25mm) I think this optic would be much better.

I was looking for a new optic for a new Sig 516. I, like most with a Law Enforcement past want something that can take abuse and work when needed, cops and their environment are hard on equipment. There was not much out there on the durability of the 4T except the fact it was cleared by the FBI and met specs. But one fellow torture tested and shotRead more about I was looking for a new optic for a with #7.5 shot a Romeo 5 and it continued to work and hold zero. Of the two others under consideration one has a dot and one has a circle and dot reticle, the Sig has both plus you can add holds. An ARD for my existing 30mm optic cost $45.00 to $ 65:00. It is included with the Romeo 4T. It comes with a riser if you want to switch to 1/3 co-witness from absolute co witness. With the competitors you would have to purchase a riser. The big thing was I chose the QUADRAPLEX reticle. I have an astigmatism plus had detached retinas in both eyes fixed with surgery. The dot on my present optic appears as a squiggly right triangle in my eyes but I have learned to shoot it and it is extremely accurate. For some reason there is no distortion of the QUADRAPLEX reticle. This is a great value and a great optic, particularly if you have some eye issues and/or have old eyes. If you can’t decide on circle dot or just dot on the two major competitors, this has both plus a QUADRAPLEX model

After buying several Aimpoints and Trijicon MROs, I decided to try something else for my 516 10″ SBR. This Romeo 4T FDE is just an excellent, very high quality product. I have always liked my MROs for their ruggedness, but this 4T appears to be just as stout and well made, if not better. The mount is easily the equal of the Geissele I used for my Read more about After buying several Aimpoints andother red dots. I especially the reticle options, particularly the “circle of death” which my other sights do not have. Add in the 100,000 hour battery life and really this 4T is hard to be. Will probably be buying more. Highly recommended.

With the previous purchase of the Romeo 5 xdr the addition of the Romeo 4T did not disappoint. The added option of holdover reticle and the solar power is awesome. The optic had all the features I had hoped for.
