I’ve had TenPoint crossbows, a Centerpoint crossbow and a Barrett crossbow. Hands down the Ravin R10 is by far is the most user friendly, most accurate … it blows all the others out of the water !!! If I ever decide to upgrade it would most definitely be with another Ravin crossbow. Worth every penny 💰

I have owned this bow for a couple of years now and have used the Ravin a lot. Imagine my distress when we went out West hunting and had a problem with the cocking strap on day one of our hunt. I contacted Ravin and I could not believe the customer service. They went above and beyond with being helpful. They shipped a brand new bow to me (Next day air mail). I really didn’t expect it to arrive that quickly since we were out in a small town in Wyoming, but it did! Their customer service rocks!! I have never seen anything like it. Won’t ever buy another brand of crossbow. They stand behind their product.

First and foremost what I didn’t like, it did not work right out of the box! After spending over an hour assembling the scope and crank mount, the time of which I did not mind because I was impressed with the quality of construction and was anxious to give it a try. Cranking it up and down was exactly what I was looking for and that part got a real work out try to figure out why the trigger was locked up. I called tech support and they never answered after being on hold for 20 minutes! I found that the arrow, once seated in the slot, came back out about 1/16 of an inch once let go. That probably gave it an indication the crossbow had no arrow in it and prevented a dry fire! EDITED ON NOV. 29, 2021! I took the Ravin R10 back to Cabela’s and was going to leave it and get a refund. Before they could issue a refund, the archery Department had to examine it. The archery tech cranked it up and loaded a arrow. He pushed it back into the trigger housing with more force than what I was doing. It clicked and it worked like a charm. I was so used to the ‘Killer Instinct’ crossbow where you seat the bolt under the retainer and up against the bow string that I didn’t push it in all the way until there was a noticeable click. The instructions are quit clean on that but what I was hearing (I wear hearing aids) wasn’t ‘the’ click. I hope the Ravin people understand my error and accept my apology!

Thought I wasn’t getting this crossbow due to a notification it was delivered it didn’t show up till 2 days after it notified delivered I contacted the seller and they were working on finding out what happened and where it was very quickly!!! If I were to need to buy another I totally would recommend the dealer I bought this crossbow from!!!

It lasted about half the season and killed a coyote before the limb started to delaminate. Waiting on a response from Ravin for a fix. Owned a Centerpoint 370 for years without any issues. A $300 crossbow shouldn’t out last a $2000 one.

I have shot compound bows for thirty years and due to torn shoulder I needed to use a crossbow this season. I researched what I should buy for weeks and all of that research paid off. This crossbow is accurate and has many features that make you feel that you have a high quality, well designed crossbow in your hands. The accuracy and quality is more than I could have expected.
Once you have gone thru the directions on how to set up and sight this is a very accurate and easy crossbow to use. The only slight I have is that they could design an easier way to uncock the weapon it would be safer. You have to be careful uncocking this weapon. As long as you are focused it is no issue. A lapse in focus could cost you damage to the crossbow or your hand.
Great product and I would suggest this to anyone who is interested in crossbows. Spend the money to get performance and accuracy.

I find this bow incredible. Granted it is my first crossbow, but still I find it easy to use. The hand protector makes handling the bow incredibly easy. The cocking system is amazing. Be careful when decocking, if you do. The handle can get away from you. After decocking the bow once I never will again. I will shoot into a bag instead. The scope is wonderful. Site in at 20, good to go at all distances. Optics are clear and compensator bubbles are true. This was an excellent purchase. It will be hard to wait for deer season. Five stars. I would be remiss, if I did not mention the 2.5 lb excellent trigger. An amazing tool.

Could not be happier with this crossbow. I owe other crossbows and this one is in a class all it’s own. Had a few snags while zeroing in the scope which is a tad different than a regular scope. But that was my fault. Raven customer service was just a phone call away. Never had to wait to talk to someone. They were super knowledgeable and more than happy to help. Got it zeroed to perfection from 20 out to 100 yds. The cocking mechanism is genius…no problem to cock even for an old timer like me. Really quite an amazing product!

And a bonus that you get the flip up scope caps with the scope.
My only suggestion for Ravin would be to offer “all” the necessary items as a PKG for the person getting started. Or at least make a list of suggested items for the first time buyer of a crossbow.
