A really great gun to practice with it you have a Beretta 92. Shoots good in defensive exercises. And the ammo is a LOT less expensive than 9MM. It has a very nice trigger; both double and single action. Unfortunately NRA defensive classes require center fire ammo but you can still practice with the M9-22. The guns are about the same weight and size. The only read difference is the magazine release. The M9-22 is by the trigger guard and the 92 I have (late 1970’s) it is at the bottom of the grips. I like the gun and so does my wife . . . . I wonder how much I’ll be able to shoot it??

I put 300 rounds of mixed ammo through it and had limited problems. Winchester white box had a few failure to loads, Remington golden bullets would jam up in the magazine and get stuck near the extractor loading, and not even load sometimes. I recommend staying away from those brands, I found the basic federal brick to work just fine and problem free. True how the M9 shoots, low at longer distances you must make up for this by aiming slightly higher after 10 yards. I did notice the quality on the gun not to be fully inspected, the rear sight was tilted to the far right, I had to adjust it with a small tool kit from husky in a screw driver set, a small Allen key screw; someone didn’t properly fix it at the factory, mine shoots right about a half inch, I need to finish adjusting it! Lower is made in Germany by Urmarex and the Upper slide is made in MD by Beretta. I don’t know how long a poly gun like this can hold up, I have seen reports of 5,000 rounds and going strong. I highly recommend this as a training aid to save money if you have a M9 or 92fs. I am able to practice on 550 bricks for $20 versus 9mm $15 a box of 50. I picked up an extra 5 magazines for this gun, makes shooting a lot easier. The 15 round magazines work flawlessly on federal brick 22lr.

I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this pistol! I assumed it’d been out for a long time. After getting my AR-500 steel targets set up I quickly realized I was burning up a lot of ammo and needed a semi auto .22lr to train and have fun with. This seemed like a no brainer and goodness was I happy with this purchase. This Beretta eats everything I run through it, highly reliable and accurate and with the assist lever on the stockags it’s VERY easy to load. It’s basically a full sized Beretta m9 chambered in .22lr. It has a thumb safety that’s ambidextrous and doubles as a de-cocker for the hammer. High capacity, .22lr, reliable, accurate… It’s a joy and this feels like blasphemy to say this but I love this gun more than any of the Ruger Mark series I’ve ever owned or fired. As always I love using ukrguns and their cash discount. Buy one, it’s awesome!

! already owned two 9mm 92F Berettas, a 92FS and a M9A3 (Inox). Both of them are really GREAT accurate shooters, that is following some trade outs-with after market parts by a master gunsmith! I am now very pleased with this new purchase of a Beretta M9A1 in a .22LR format, which was recently featured by ukrguns online at a really great price. I did some online research, and some reviews I read were critical that this isn’t a “real” Berretta, because it is actually manufactured by (Walther)/Umarex in Germany, even though the gun is fully licensed and warrantied by Beretta and the gun has some great performance reviews and YouTube range videos . This is NOT an “air soft” repIica gun! I purchased 1000 rds of .22LR ammo and 7-extra magazines for this gun and I am really looking forward to really getting into this M9A1-22LR at my neighborhood range. The .22LR magazines are super easy no load, no loader is required as there is an external access button to slide down to compress the magazine spring. This gun has great personal potential for me as a “trainer” with lower cost ammunition, less recoil, resulting in more on-target trigger time at the range focusing on the fundamentals. The purchase of this gun was actually cheaper than the cost of a Beretta “trainer” conversion kit to change over a 9mm 92FS or M9A1 to .22cal would have been, plus I am not a gunsmith, and I didn’t see myself changing over back and forth one of my 9mm Beretta to the ,22LR format. So, it was a real easy decision to purchase another M9A1 frame dedicated to .22LR.

Got a screaming deal, on this pistol, from ukrguns. Super fast shipping. Ordered on a Thursday, and it was available for pickup, at my local FFL, on the following Monday. Unfortunately, it took me a few days to get by and pick it up. ukrguns Rocks!! Me? not so much.
Just got home from the range for the first time. Holy Smokes what a tack driver!!! The heft of a larger gun, and the ammo costs of a 22. Love this pistol. Accurate. Shot 200 rounds of various ammo, and knocked the center out of several targets, at 20 yards. At 30 yards all shots were in a pie pan. This pistol is a blast to shoot and inexpensive to shoot to boot. I highly recommend this weapon. And ukrguns prices and shipping speed, can’t be beat.

ukrguns shipped this nice Beretta M9 .22 lr to me really quickly and I inspected the gun, it was in great shape! I shot about 600 rounds through it by now and everything seems to be great. This gun is awesome, fun to shoot, easy to get a good grip on it, cycles well, no issues. I field stripped it (very easy to do), cleaned it, and then put it back together and shot 200 rounds again. It is very smooth, there is essentially no recoil and I found it to be quite an accurate gun. It is hard to see where it hits sometimes due to the small bullet size, but I even shot it at 45 feet and got most of my rounds in a 4″ circle. Great gun, I highly recommend it if you like the Beretta design.

I have owned a number of long guns over the years but have never fired or owned a hand gun. I purchased the Beretta m9 22lr with some research assistance from my son in law after reading the many positive reviews. We took it to the range for the first time and what a treat. Part of my choosing this gun was the longer barrel and the heavier weight. I am approaching 60 years old and my hand is not as steady as it once was. This gun performed so well my son in law accused me of lying to him about never firing a hand gun. Can’t say enough good things about it. It has the look and feel of a larger caliber gun but is super cheap to shoot. If you are a first timer or an old pro looking for a good practice gun look no further.

It’s well made and very accurate, disassembles just like the 9mm version. It came with one 15 round magazine and I purchased an additional one from ukrguns.
It’s a great training aid for practicing the fundamentals of shooting the 9mm M9, especially the DA/SA trigger pull.

Very pleased with my purchase! This handgun is very accurate right out of the box, no issues at all after running about 500 rounds through it. I used mostly Remington thunderbolt bulk pack and it functioned flawlessly. The sights are dead on, feels great in the hand and it breaks down just like the Beretta 92. The only negative that I can speak of is it only comes with one 15 round magazine. Extra magazines are about $30 each. The transaction with ukrguns was smooth as usual, I’ve been doing business with them for several years and have not had any issues to speak of. I do a lot of research before buying any firearm and ukrguns had the best price around. I don’t know why there aren’t more reviews by YouTube gun channels on this firearm, it really is a fun gun to shoot and the 15 round magazine makes it even better.

I’ve had this pistol for several weeks but wanted a second trip to the range before I submitted a review. I like this pistol a lot! I’ve shot at least a 100 rounds through it with no ejection problems or misfires. (I don’t know all the abbreviations the experts use.) As the manual states; it handles standard, high and hyper velocity bullets with no discernible difference in performance. However, my first time at the range it shot quite low at fifteen yards. After adjusting my aim, the change was significant. When I arrived home, I looked thru the case and found another front sight labeled #1. It appeared shorter, so I switched it for the original. Today I went to the range and fired the .22 again with marginal change in elevation. I stayed with a good quality high velocity shell for consistency. A friend fired 10 rounds thru it with identical results. Both of us used a sandbag rest. So, a little more fine tuning is in order. The other great thing about this pistol is basically it’s a clone of my new 92FS, so it fits everything the 92 fits and feels identical, except for being lighter. Tommy

This Beretta M9 is so much fun to shoot. The 15 round magazine is great and this gun is not picky with the type of ammo you put through it. I own a Beretta 9mm in a stainless finish and the controls of the M9 are exactly the same as my 9mm. Built quality of this pistol from Beretta/Umarex is excellent. Cleaned pistol out of the box and took to the range. Ran CCI MMs, Remington Goldens and a couple others with no jam or feed issues. A little ‘stiff’ overall at first, but only took a few mags run through to really smooth out the slide action, trigger and hammer. Sights were pretty right on straight out of the box. 15 round mag is nice. One included….should be two for the price, but an extra was easily ordered from Beretta’s website. As usual, ukrguns, shipped fast and problem free to my FFL.
